Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Sunday’s trading session, the first session after Eid al Fitr holiday, with positive performance, encouraged by the growth of all sectors.
By 10:50 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) grew 1.4%, or 119 points, to 8,635.94 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 25.8 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 621.66 million.
The transportation sector topped the risers and added 2.16%, followed by the telecommunication, banking, and material sectors with 1.97%, 1.67%, and 1.2%, respectively.
The Pharma, Biotech and Life Science sector remained unchanged.
On the other hand, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, decreased by 2.24%, or 78.45 points, to 3,425.85 points.
